It's a cover up

Decided to make a start on the bonnet. Not a huge amount to do - hole cutout for the exhaust and bonnet catches really.

Made a template for the exhaust cutout:

Transferred to the bonnet:

Bit of work with a saw and file and all done:

Trial fit looks good:
